Zesterex is an outsourced design and drafting practice for the built environment — MEP, fire protection, structural, architectural, energy compliance and photometrics — delivering permit-ready work for architects, GCs and developers across eight countries.
Who we are
Engineering production, run like your own team.
We exist so that architects, contractors and developers can take on more work without hiring for every peak. You keep design authority and client relationships; we produce the coordinated, code-compliant deliverables behind them — sized to real load calculations, drawn to your standards, and ready for plan check. Over more than five years we’ve delivered 250+ projects across eight countries.
The practice is led by Md. Sabrul Jamil, an MEP engineer, and staffed by engineers and drafters working across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire, structural and architectural scopes. We’re based in Dhaka and work with clients internationally, on the collaboration tools they already use.

Honest about stamping
We produce the work; where a US permit needs a seal, our retained PEs (Texas and California) or a per-project licensed PE reviews and stamps as engineer of record. We never claim to stamp what we can’t. How that works →
Math on the sheets
Load calcs, service sizing and compliance forms are printed on the drawings, so a reviewer audits the work instead of writing comments about it.
Your IP is yours
NDAs as standard, your title block, your standards. Every case study we publish is anonymized to project type and state — no client, city or design-team names, ever.

Zesterex is led by Md. Sabrul Jamil, an MEP engineer whose career spans two continents — from combined-cycle power generation, metro rail and industrial plants to permit-ready residential and commercial sets for the North American market. The projects listed here are from his career before founding the practice, at the firms that delivered them; Zesterex client work stays confidential. He is not a US-licensed PE; where a permit requires a seal, a US-licensed PE partner reviews and stamps the work as engineer of record.
